This basic options class learned an important lesson over the past week. A week ago, most of our trades were under water, but we didn't feel particularly nervous due to our desire to actually want to own those underlying symbols for our long-term portfolio. The market has turned all of our positions into the green over the week. We also looked at January's dividend increases in this class, prior to our traditional sold-put match-up.
