Factor-Based Trend Trading – Recorded
Today's class reminded participants that Trend Trading often involves buying traditionally-overvalued securities. Trend Traders look for strong price action, which often brings a potential stock candidate to all-time highs. It's at that point that a stock is likely more highly valued than it was in previous months. But Trend Traders are generally ok with that because they aren't buy-and-hold investors and are willing to sell when the tide turns.
“Ask A CMT” Q&A Session – Recorded
The August 24 Ask a CMT Q&A session examines the market's near-term weakness, the outlook for gold and Bitcoin, European ETF opportunities, practical uses and limitations of AI, and international diversification. The discussion emphasizes combining trend, relative strength, valuation, position sizing, and source verification when evaluating portfolio decisions.

Top-Down Trend Trading – Recorded
Today's class discussed last week's big Health Care news, regarding success in development of a personalized cancer vaccine. That news was an additional catalyst to the sector, which was already on a positive move within the stock market. Health Care is now at the top of the Sector Selector, after being dead-last just over 3 months ago. We bought a payments platform stock at the end of class.
Directional Options Strategies – Recorded
This intermediate options class is designed for market participants who want to start trading more actively. Bullish and bearish directional strategies are guided by technical analysis and are used on both stocks and ETFs.

Dividend Growth Investing – Recorded
Today's class reminded folks that listening to their guts is likely more important as buy-and-hold investors than in other aspects of trading. DGI typically involves holding less volatile securities than other strategies, but it doesn't mean you get a hall pass to avoid pain altogether. We ended class by purchasing a utility stock with over a quarter century of dividend increases.
Technical Analysis – Recorded
This Technical Analysis class examines whether the market’s unusually tight range represents healthy consolidation or growing vulnerability ahead of NVIDIA’s earnings. The session combines volatility compression, trend strength, breadth, credit, options positioning, and relative leadership to evaluate the next potential range expansion and whether weakening technology leadership could strengthen the case for a rotation from growth toward value.

Superinvestor Position Trading – Recorded
Today's class reviewed Dan Loeb and his approach towards activist investing. We also looked at premarket winners, where one of our holdings was on the positive side of the 9at9 and is considered one of the most important stocks in the market. We ended class with a head-to-head matchup of two highly acquisitive companies, but the class voted to leave our current portfolio fully intact.
Options Inventory Trading – Recorded
The August 27 Options Inventory Trading class brings the September inventory close to its risk allocation while balancing Delta, Theta, and Vega. The recording demonstrates potential Micro E-mini futures hedges, explains how calendars offset the volatility exposure of iron condors, and begins the October cycle with new SPY and IWM positions.

Options for Long-term Investors – Recorded
Today's class reviewed recent dividend increase announcements. We talked about the percentage of additional fractional shares that have helped our long term positions, due directly to DRIP. We talked about the two difference maintenance techniques we use in this class, after we've sold a put. We ended class with a new position in an asset-light stock that was hit earlier this year, in the SaaSpocalypse.
Portfolio Management with ETFs – Recorded
The August 28 Portfolio Management with ETFs class uses the Broad ETF Allocator and relative-strength evidence to evaluate a proposed growth-to-value rotation. The class retains the 70% equity and 30% fixed-income allocation, keeps the growth tilt, and approves smaller changes across emerging markets, cyclical sectors, and fixed income while waiting for stronger value confirmation.
