I, too, was able to negotiated a lower rate w/ tda after hearing a discussion in class. $4.45 (base) and .50 (per contract). I may create a reminder to revisit this yearly. Couldn’t hurt to keep asking for a lower rate, especially if the accounts and activity increase! 😉
