In one of Mr. Settles initial broadcasts, he showed a slide that listed 4 (I think) questions that we should ask ourselves when determining a plan/goals for our investing endeavors. Would someone please point me to the specific recording or tell me what those questions were?

did you try scrolling back through the Blog to find the class? there really hasn’t been that many so it shouldn’t be too hard to find.
Perhaps David Settle can answer you in the Q & A class this Saturday…

Charles — this is from his ETF class on Thursday evenings (3/29/18 to be exact). Are these the questions you were thinking of?
1. What is my expected return based on my personal situation?
2. What is my expected return on the market over the long term?
3. What is the current market posture?
4. How are different asset classes performing relative to each other?
5. Has my portfolio become unbalanced?
6. How active do I want to be with respect to portfolio management?

This might be what you’re looking for from the “Portfolio Management with ETF’s” class. I just finished re-watching the video yesterday and took notes.
What is my expected return based on my personal situation?
What is the expected return on the market over the long term?
What is the current market posture?
How are different asset classes performing relative to one another?
Has my portfolio become unbalanced?
How active do I want to be?
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the feedback but these aren’t the comments I am looking for. I started reviewing some of the recordings and had hoped to save myself some time by inquiring on this forum. These questions were elementary questions in establishing why one would invest, what one would invest in etc. Mr Settles discussion on it was a quick slide and 10-20 seconds reading them. I’ll find it and post it here. Every year I re-do why and how’s come I am doing this. Every year something changes. These questions were a little different than what I have dealt with in the past. Thanks again for the feedback!

Here are the questions I promised,
What are you going to trade?
When are you going to trade?
How much are you going to trade?
How are you going to exit ?
