Wow…Philip Morris ($PM) has hit multi-year lows today on a revenue miss? This does not look good.
10:43 ET – Cigarette makers slide after a disappointing earnings report from Philip Morris International , the multinational behind brands including Marlboro and Virginia Slims. Philip Morris , which posted revenue that missed analysts’ expectations, said Thursday that slowing sales in the Middle East and other markets could hurt its earnings this year. In London , Imperial Brands falls 4% to $23.24 , while British American Tobacco drops 6.6% to $36.08 . (akane.otani@wsj.com)
