dave seems a bit bullish on the market outlook on friday april 6. he says he wont be surprised if we get a green arrow next week going above 50day MA. anyone agree?

I wouldn’t be surprised since more times than not when there is a severe sell-off, it’s followed by a bounce although many times the bounce is less than the amount of the sell-off.

The technical analysis that David presents shows the potential, but I think it all depends on what China’s next move (action) is after President Trump’s Tariff statement on Friday morning.

yes, we are dominated by news right now. technicals thrown out the window when news comes out.

Would not be surprised if we get a couple of significant up days next week. But am also expecting we get pretty good down days as well. For me, high volatility equates to higher trading ranges — both up and down.
The trade wars, and specifically China’s response to the latest jabs, will dictate the price action more so than any technicals (just like Eugene said in earlier comment).
